|Sumár projektu:||The project named “Tourist attractions of our region” is focused on work with information and communication technology and other means of digital communication. Thanks to the project all participants will improve their skills in working with information and communication technologies and during common creation of the website, working with the map with links, monitoring the important sights of the region, preparing presentations and improving on-line communication.The common output is realized by means of the brochure of the project with data about involved schools, their countries and monitoring activities. It is about wide international teamwork considering the improvement of professional language skills, knowledge of life and traditions, culture and customs of partner countries, geography and history of monitoring region and improving the language knowledge.
Four partnership secondary schools will be engaged in the cooperation in the project – from the Czech Republic (school coordinator), the Slovak Republic, Lithuania and Italy. During the project the implementation team of each school is going to chart interesting tourist attractions of own region. These places will be personally visited by the students who will make photos, study facts, which will be put down on the project map and into the presentations (each school will enter 15 attractions altogether). Current work on the project will be consulted by partners through on-line communication as well as during mobilities of students and their teachers.
Two international project meetings of managers will run through the project with the aim to coordinate the project, monitor it, evaluate and plan the activities(in October 2017 and June 2017 – 2 participants from each school). Four mobilities of students and teachers are going to be realized in each partner country (24 persons/3 mobilities total/6 students and an accompanying person) March 2018 – Italy, June 2018 – Czech Republic, October 2018 – Slovak Republic, May 2019 – Lithuania. During each mobility (the length of stay – 5 days) the participants will learn about the hosting school, the country the region with its attractions will be shown to the participants during 2 trips ( at least). The pupils of partner schools will be involved in these activities, they will communicate with other participants in the foreign language, they will participate in preparation of guided tours and work with the outputs of the project during the workshops.
Gaining the working experience in an international project team during the mobilities as well as communication by ICT is also an important benefit. The improvement of the English language skills and removing language barriers are also very important for students´ career opportunities in their native country as well as at the international labour market. Thanks to the realization of this project the professional and language skills will be improved not only for students of secondary schools but also for the educational staff and for the management teams of the schools. All acquired experience, skills and project outputs are going to be used in teaching, working with students, in presentation of schools in public and their advertising on the education market. The involvement of the individuals in the project will be proved by the certificate of participation.|
